LUCKY TRIMMER #29 – On the Move ! After two years of hibernation, LUCKY TRIMMER is back—and this time, it’s shaking things up in Frankfurt! Known for pushing boundaries, breaking conventions, and serving up bite-sized, high-energy performances, LUCKY TRIMMER is stepping out of its Berlin comfort zone to explore new creative territories. The 29th edition will land at Gallus Theater on April 25 & 26, 2025, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
What’s LUCKY TRIMMER ? More than just a festival, LUCKY TRIMMER is a playground for the bold and the unexpected. Since 2004, this independent curatorial platform has been spotlighting both emerging and established artists with their most original, provocative, and boundary-smashing ideas. Each performance is no longer than 10 minutes—a thrilling format that forces artists to strip their work down to its raw essence and captivate audiences in a flash.
What’s the vibe ? Think of it as a wild rollercoaster through the underbelly of contemporary dance and performance. Avant-garde meets mainstream, movement fuses with theater, circus, music, and installation art.
